Spider-Man and the X-Men in Arcade's Revenge is an action-platform game developed by Software Creations and published by Flying Edge for the Sega Genesis.
Based on Marvel Comics characters, the game follows Spider-Man as he tracks down the villain Arcade after the X-Men are kidnapped and trapped inside the deadly Murderworld. Players control Spider-Man, Wolverine, Cyclops, Storm, and Gambit, with each hero featuring unique abilities and stages built around their powers.
The Genesis version is nearly identical to the SNES release, with the biggest difference being its soundtrack, which was rearranged to take advantage of the Genesis sound hardware. The game is best known for its challenging gameplay, varied level design, and memorable music by Tim and Geoff Follin.
